Job summary

Adyen Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Merchant Onboarding Specialist to join our Merchant Operations team. You will assess customer needs for onboarding onto the Adyen platform while upholding compliance guidelines, and help scale internal processes through optimization and automation.

Based in Singapore, this office-first role collaborates with Underwriting, Sales, Account Management, and Compliance to ensure a smooth rollout and strong merchant relationships; remote work is not offered.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years experience in a Commercial, Compliance or an Operations role.
• Strong people skills and relationship-building abilities.
• Driven self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to balance compliance boundaries with commercial opportunities.
• Fully fluent in English.
• Good understanding of KYC requirements and processes.

Responsibilities

• Understand Adyen’s product offering and advise customers on best usage.
• Collaborate with commercial teams and compliance to ensure smooth rollout.
• Own and improve merchant onboarding processes.
• Drive decision making and transparency through data analysis and insights.
• Educate teams on regulatory, procedural, and scheme compliance changes.
• Gather insights from Sales, Account Management, and Partnerships teams to translate to operational needs.
• Contribute to internal process improvement initiatives to scale the business.
