Job summary

CHARLES & KEITH (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. is seeking a Merchandise Planner to drive range planning, forecasting, buying and inventory monitoring within the fashion business.

You will partner with franchise partners, manage seasonal OTB, pricing decisions, and optimize product assortment, while delivering KPIs across sales, stock and markdowns. The role demands strong analytical skills, Excel proficiency and cross‑functional collaboration in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance/Accountancy/Business/Retail Management or related field.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred; candidates without experience considered.
• Knowledge of Merchandising, Buying process and product knowledge.
• Excellent computing skills, proficient in MS Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skills.
• Positive work attitude and ability to work under pressure.
• Good interpersonal and leadership skills.
• Enjoy interacting with people of diverse cultures.
• Keen eye for details with an aptitude for numbers.
• Strong presentation and report-writing skills.
• Keen sense of fashion and passion for the fashion industry.
• Proficiency in SAP and Qlikview will be an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Partner with franchise partners on seasonal OTB and alignment with financial targets.
• Forecast order quantity for the assigned category.
• Hit KPIs including sales targets, sell-through and optimal inventory levels.
• Support pre-season activities: launch planning, allocation, pricing, range planning.
• Curate and manage product assortment and optimize performance through lifecycle.
• Support in-season activities: repeat orders, markdowns, consolidation.
• Build and maintain relationships within team and franchise partners.
• Understand country/partner nuances to optimize business performance.
• Participate in IT or productivity improvement projects.

As a Merchandise Planner, you will play a key role in range planning, forecasting, buying, and monitoring the performance of sales, inventory and markdowns. We welcome people who have strong interest in fashion & strong analytical skills to join the team.

Job Responsibilities:

• Partner with franchise partners on determining seasonal OTB & alignment with financial targets.
• Forecast order quantity for the assigned category.
• Undertake tactical actions to hit KPIs which include sales target, sell through and achieve optimal inventory level closing stocks.
• Support execution of pre-season activities which include launch planning, allocation plan, pricing for new season & range planning.
• Curate and manage product assortment and strategically optimizing performance throughout the product life cycle.
• Support execution of in-season activities which include repeat orders, markdowns & consolidation.
• Build and maintain productive relationships within the team, cross-functional teams and franchise partners.
• Understand country/partner level nuances and competitive landscape to optimize business performance
• Participate in departmental projects to improve the I.T system or productivity of the department and company.

Requirements:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience preferred. Candidates without prior experience would be considered
