Job summary

QUEK HOCK SENG CONSTRUCTION (PTE) LTD is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to handle take-offs, tender pricing, and the preparation of Bills of Quantities. The role involves sourcing subcontractors and suppliers, evaluating price comparisons, and producing costing summaries.

You will analyze project specifications to identify cost-saving measures, assist the Project Team with variations, progress claims and cost control, and monitor costs against the planned schedule and budget.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of relevant experience.
• Good communication skills and ability to interact with people at all levels.
• Able to work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Taking off quantities, pricing and preparing tender submissions.
• Prepare Bills of Quantity.
• Source subcontractors and suppliers, evaluate price comparisons and costing summaries.
• Analyze project specifications to recommend cost-saving measures.
• Assist Project Team for variations, progress claims and cost control.
• Monitor and keep track of project cost as per planned schedule and budget.
• Measure and determine amount of work done to evaluate progress and contractual claims by subcontractors.
• Assist in the settlement of final accounts with client, suppliers, and sub-contractors.
• Carry out contract administration duties.
