IJM Construction Sdn. Bhd.

(Singapore Branch) seeks an experienced M&E Construction Engineer to coordinate and supervise installation, integration and commissioning of HVAC, chilled water, ventilation, power distribution, fire protection and BMS on major projects. The role requires reviewing shop drawings and method statements, coordinating with consultants, clients, subcontractors and vendors, supporting testing and handover, and ensuring safety, schedule and quality standards throughout

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years in construction/ M&E consulting.
• Good knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Fire, Plumbing is preferred.
• Good coordination, problem-solving and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the installation, integration and commissioning of mechanical and electrical works including HVAC, chilled water systems, ventilation, power distribution, fire protection and Building Management System (BMS).
• Monitor construction progress to ensure works are completed safely, on schedule and in accordance with quality standards.
• Review shop drawings, method statements, material submissions and technical documents to ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors and vendors to resolve engineering and site coordination issues.
• Support testing, commissioning and system handover activities to achieve project completion milestones.
• Monitor site activities, identify technical issues and implement practical engineering solutions.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, statutory requirements and company safety standards.
• Prepare engineering reports, progress updates and technical documentation as required.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to facilitate effective project communication and coordination.
• Perform other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by management from time to time.
