Job summary

CTCI Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking a Senior MEP Construction Lead to oversee all MEP activities on an EPC project in Singapore. The role requires guiding cross-functional teams, ensuring safety, quality, and on-time delivery across electrical, mechanical, and building services systems.

You will coordinate with engineering, procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and commissioning teams, review technical drawings, and manage site personnel to meet project milestones.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in MEP construction, EPC, or industrial projects.
• MOM-accredited safety courses (e.g., BCSS or SSSC) required; CSCPM or equivalent is a plus.
• Proven experience in managing MEP site execution and coordinating activities.
• Strong coordination across Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and Commissioning teams.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, industrial, or high-spec EPC projects preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee all MEP construction activities, ensuring safety, efficiency, and conformance with project requirements.
• Coordinate multiple MEP disciplines, subcontractors, and site teams to meet milestones.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, HSE, and Commissioning teams.
• Review drawings, specs, method statements to ensure proper site implementation.
• Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and construction activities per schedule.
• Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, and other systems.
• Monitor subcontractor performance and progress; take corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and handover.
• Identify and resolve technical, interface, and constructability issues with project teams.
• Monitor punch-list items and defects through to completion.
• Liaise with Project Manager, Construction Manager, consultants, and client representatives.
• Ensure compliance with drawings, technical specs, quality standards, procedures, and safety requirements.

• Coordinate multiple MEP disciplines, subcontractors, and site construction teams to achieve project milestones and objectives.
• Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, QA/QC, HSE, and Commissioning teams throughout project execution.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, method statements, and construction documents to ensure proper site implementation.
• Plan and monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and construction activities in line with the approved project schedule.
• Coordinate MEP works with civil, structural, architectural, process, and other specialist systems to ensure smooth integration.
• Monitor subcontractor performance, workmanship, productivity, and construction progress, taking corrective action where necessary.
• Oversee inspections, testing, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and system handover activities.
• Identify and resolve technical, interface, and constructability issues in collaboration with relevant project teams.
• Monitor punch-list items, defects, and outstanding works through to satisfactory completion.
• Liaise with the Project Manager, Construction Manager, consultants, client representatives, and subcontractors on all MEP-related construction matters.
• Ensure compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, project procedures, and site safety requirements.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Building Services Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in MEP construction, EPC, or industrial projects.
• Certification in MOM-accredited safety courses, such as BCSS or SSSC, is required. CSCPM (Construction Safety Course for Project Managers) or equivalent relevant qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in managing MEP site execution, coordinating construction activities, and supervising subcontractors and site personnel.
• Strong coordination skills, with the ability to work effectively across Engineering, Procurement, QA/QC, HSE, and Commissioning teams.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, technical specifications, method statements, and other construction documents.
• Good understanding of MEP installation, inspection, testing, commissioning, and system handover processes.
• Experience in semiconductor, cleanroom, industrial, advanced manufacturing, or other high-specification EPC projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work independently in a fast-paced, schedule-driven construction environment.
