Job summary

d craft pte. ltd. invites an experienced MEP Project Manager to oversee the MEP team, coordinate with clients, consultants and authorities, and ensure timely, quality delivery of MEP systems for construction projects in Singapore.

You will develop project schedules and milestones, review designs, manage budgets, lead subcontractors, and ensure compliance with local regulations. A degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering (PE Board preferred) and strong leadership in MEP projects are required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related fields; PE Board recognized degree preferred.
• Strong M&E project management expertise with at least one completed project cycle.
• GMAP certification is a plus.
• Experience with HDB projects is a plus.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, BIM software, or other M&E design tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Project Managers to integrate MEP systems into overall project plans.
• Develop MEP project schedules and milestones.
• Lead and manage the MEP team, providing technical guidance and support.
• Cultivate collaboration among MEP team members and other project stakeholders.
• Coordinate with architects and engineers to ensure MEP systems align with project requirements.
• Review and approve MEP designs and drawings.
• Monitor and control costs to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
• Source and select MEP contractors, vendors, and suppliers.
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with MEP service providers.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures for MEP installations.
• Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.
• Oversee the installation and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Manage MEP project timelines to meet project milestones.
• Ensure adherence to local regulations governing MEP systems.
• Obtain necessary permits and approvals for MEP installations.
• Identify potential risks associated with MEP installations and develop mitigation strategies.
• Implement contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, relevant authorities, and subcontractors regarding M&E issues, ensuring effective communication and problem resolution.
• Any other ad-hoc duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering or related fields; PE Board recognized degree is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in the construction industry, with strong M&E project management expertise and at least one completed project cycle.
• Possess Green Mark Accredited Professional (GMAP) certification is a plus.
• Experience with HDB projects is a plus.
• Proficient in Autodesk Revit, BIM software, or other M&E design tools.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and project management skills, with the ability to supervise teams and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• In-depth knowledge of M&E systems, installation methods, and industry standards.
