Job summary

DJ Engineering & Construction PteLtd is seeking an MEP BIM Modeler to support development and coordination of MEP models for Singapore projects. A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is required.

The ideal candidate can convert engineering information into coordinated MEP models and drawings, and will work with project teams to ensure accurate, clash-free designs compliant with project standards. Proficiency with Autodesk Revit is essential, focusing on mechanical, electrical and plumbing

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, MEP or a related discipline.
• Working knowledge of Autodesk Revit MEP.
• Ability to read and understand MEP drawings.
• Understanding of BIM modelling and multidisciplinary coordination.
• Knowledge of Navisworks or clash-detection workflows is an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and technical accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Candidates must be willing to work in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain MEP BIM models using appropriate BIM software, particularly Autodesk Revit.
• Develop mechanical, electrical and plumbing service models from drawings, specifications and design information.
• Prepare plans, sections, details and model-based documentation for project deliverables.
• Update BIM models accurately when designs, site conditions or project requirements change.
• Coordinate MEP models with architectural and structural information.
• Assist in identifying clashes and support coordination and resolution activities.
• Review model information for completeness, consistency and accuracy.
• Extract drawings, schedules and relevant information from BIM models as required.
• Follow project BIM standards, naming conventions, modelling procedures and submission requirements.
• Work with engineers, coordinators and project teams to deliver BIM outputs within agreed timelines.
