Singapore Fintech Association (SFA) seeks a relationship-driven Membership Executive to own the member pipeline from prospecting to conversion and ongoing engagement.
You'll build genuine relationships across Singapore's FinTech ecosystem, understand company priorities, and match them to SFA memberships, events, and programmes.
This role blends outreach, data-driven reporting, and on-site presence at industry events, with a focus on delivering value to members.
You'll be SFA's eyes and ears on the ground — the first handshake, the trusted point of contact, and the person who turns industry conversations into membership partnerships. This role is about building genuine relationships across Singapore's FinTech ecosystem, understanding what companies need, and connecting them to the right opportunities within SFA.
This is a relationship-first, numbers-aware role. You'll own your member pipeline end to end — from prospecting to conversion and ongoing engagement.
Identify and engage prospective members across Startup, Corporate, and Partner tiers through events, industry touchpoints, and ecosystem networking — no cold calling.
Conduct virtual and in-person discovery meetings to understand a company's background, strategic priorities, and challenges.
Present and recommend the most relevant SFA membership plans based on each prospect's profile and goals. Gather feedback on value proposition gaps and elevate insights to the General Manager and relevant teams. Maintain accurate pipeline records — leads, meetings, follow-ups, and conversions — in HubSpot CRM.
Build early, meaningful relationships with members — be proactive, not reactive.
Conduct regular check-ins to surface member needs and connect them to the right SFA departments, programmes, or events.
Track member health metrics: renewals, expiring memberships, churn signals, and re-joiner opportunities. Flag at-risk accounts early and work with the team on targeted retention interventions.
Attend SFA and industry events during business hours to network, represent the association, and deepen prospect and member relationships. Engage with participants on the ground — understand the sectors they operate in, the problems they face, and how SFA can add value. Actively contribute to building SFA's presence across Singapore's FinTech community.
Know your numbers: new deals, sign-ups, expiring memberships, churn rate, and conversion metrics.
Contribute to regular membership reports and pipeline updates for the General Manager.
Ensure all member interactions are logged and tracked accurately in HubSpot.
