Job summary

Singapore Association of Convention & Exhibition Organisers & Suppliers (SACEOS) is seeking a dynamic Manager, Members Engagement & Events to support the association in managing member relationships, organising membership activities and flagship events such as the Singapore MICE Forum.

You will coordinate events, manage delegate recruitment, oversee trade missions, and drive member recruitment and retention while collaborating with teams across the organisation.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in related fields.
• Experience in organising large-scale events involving C-level participants.
• Takes initiative and can work independently to meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal skills and collaboration across teams.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute SACEOS' flagship events, including the Singapore MICE Forum and Asia CEO Summit.
• Assist in post-event evaluation, consolidate feedback, and prepare reports for improvements.
• Manage inbound and outbound trade missions, coordinating logistics, delegations, and business matching.
• Develop and implement strategies to attract, recruit, and retain member organisations.
• Organise regular Member Connect activities to facilitate knowledge sharing and networking.
• Administer membership fee collection and maintain the membership database.
• Perform ad hoc duties as assigned.

SACEOS is a leading association with over 40 years of proven dedication to serving the MICE industry in Singapore.

We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Manager, Members Engagement& Events. In this role, you will be supporting the association to manage member relationship, organise membership-related activities as well as SACEOS' flagship events and business missions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Event Management: Plan, coordinate, and execute SACEOS' flagship events, such as the Singapore MICE Forum and Asia CEO Summit. Mainly to support the Singapore MICE Forum (SMF), including but not limited to event planning and coordination, event operations and logistics, delegate recruitment and engagement.
• SMF Post-Event Evaluation & Reporting: Assist in post-event evaluation for SMF, including gathering delegate and stakeholder feedback, consolidating performance data and preparing post-event reports. Support the identification of insights and areas for improvement, and contribute ideas to strengthen future editions of the Singapore MICE Forum.
• Trade Missions: Manage inbound and outbound trade missions, coordinating logistics, delegations, and business matching activities.
• Member Recruitment and Retention: Develop and implement strategies to attract, recruit, and retain members. Identify opportunities to add value to member organisations through targeted initiatives and resources to drive satisfaction and member retention.
• Member Connect Activities: Organise regular Member Connect activities, including networking sessions and workshops, to facilitate knowledge sharing and interaction among members.
• Membership Administration: Administer membership fee collection and membership database management.
• Any other ad hoc duties assigned.

Requirements:

• Tertiary education with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in related fields.
• Prior experience in organising large-scale events involving C-level participants.
• Takes initiative and work independently to complete assigned tasks within the given timeline.
• Strong operation and execution skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across teams and build relationships with members and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
