Job summary

Republic of Singapore Yacht Club is seeking a proactive Membership Services professional to handle member inquiries, process applications, and manage communications with a focus on customer satisfaction.

The role involves tours for prospective members, sales support for campaigns, event coordination with multiple departments, and ensuring accurate record-keeping and compliance with club policies. Meals are provided, and transport is arranged for staff.

Responsibilities

• Handle members' enquiries and requests through phone calls, emails, and in-person interactions.
• Provide frontline assistance at the Membership Counter with a high standard of customer service.
• Build and maintain positive relationships with members to enhance satisfaction and retention.
• Manage feedback and elevate issues where necessary in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform daily membership administrative duties, including processing applications, renewals, and updates.
• Update and maintain the membership database accurately and promptly.
• Ensure all membership documentation complies with club policies and audit requirements.
• Maintain proper filing and support monthly/quarterly reporting to Management.
• Conduct club tours for potential members and assist with onboarding.
• Support membership sales, campaigns, referral programmes, and promotional initiatives.
• Prepare membership follow-up communications.
• Identify and explore new business opportunities and partnerships for the department.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute members' events, briefings, and engagement activities.
• Work closely with internal departments (F&B, Marina, Rooms, Events) to ensure seamless event delivery.
• Assist in membership-related marketing activities and open-house initiatives.
• Coordinate with Finance on membership billing matters (subscriptions, deposits, entrance fees).
• Liaise with operational departments to ensure members' privileges and benefits are accurately applied.
• Ensure confidentiality and professionalism when handling member data and internal information.
• Uphold the club's service standards and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by Management.
