Job summary

Randstad Singapore is partnering with a plastics injection molding contract manufacturer to hire an Automation & Robotics Engineer. In this hands-on role, you will oversee automation systems, diagnose and fix technical issues, and drive process control improvements to ensure efficiency and product quality.

You will also lead FAT, SAT, and IOPQ testing and work closely with production and engineering teams. Shift work from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM on a 3-4-4-3 pattern.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related engineering field.
• Hands-on manufacturing experience, especially in plastics injection molding.
• Experience with automation, robotics, and process controls.
• MedTech or medical device manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and improve automation and robotics systems for daily performance.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and control issues to minimize downtime.
• Implement and refine process control strategies for efficiency and product quality.
• Lead FAT, SAT, and IOPQ testing and validation activities.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to integrate new automation technologies.
