Job summary

XPERT EMPLOYMENT PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled CNC technician to operate CNC machines, attend project meetings, and coordinate with clients and contractors in Singapore.

You will diagnose issues, implement solutions, and contribute to maintenance programs to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate has 5+ years on CNC equipment, a mechanical engineering background, and a proactive mindset with strong problem-solving abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.
• At least 5 years experience with CNC machines.
• Preferably Engineer specialized in Engineering-Mechanical or equivalent.
• Energetic, self-motivated, good problem-solving skills.
• Willing to learn, positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Must be able to operate Makinov 56i CNC machine; bonus if able to operate Mazak QuickTurn 250.
• Attend project meetings and coordinate with clients, consultants, main contractors and subcontractors.
• Diagnose technical issues and implement corrective actions.
• Drive preventive maintenance programs and fleet optimization.
• Conduct root cause analysis to reduce equipment downtime.
• Provide technical guidance to workshop and site teams.
• Manage cost control for repairs and equipment lifecycle planning.
• Ensure compliance with HSE and operational standards.
