Job summary

Prima Limited is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to ensure the reliable operation of milling equipment and facilities in our manufacturing plant in Singapore. You will lead a team of technicians, perform routine maintenance, and troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to read technical drawings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in maintenance engineering within a manufacturing environment.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee operation and smooth running of milling equipment and facilities.
• Lead a team of maintenance technicians to perform routine maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Conduct root cause analysis for equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production teams to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to prevent breakdowns.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiency enhancements.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
• Carry out any other duties as assigned by superior.
