Job summary

Talent Trader Group Pte. Ltd. in Singapore is seeking an automation engineer to design, develop, and integrate software, control systems, and hardware for high-precision automated equipment.

You will translate requirements into robust machine solutions and contribute to integration testing and documentation. You will provide hands-on technical support, troubleshoot hardware and software, and help improve customer-driven enhancements.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma in Engineering or Science (Electronics, Electrical, Mechatronics, Computer or equivalent).
• At least 1 year of relevant experience.
• Strong software programming capabilities with experience in automation and control systems.
• Exposure to optical inspection, image processing, or die bonder equipment is a strong advantage.
• Proactive, self-driven, and innovative with strong problem-solving skills; effective team player able to provide technical guidance and extended customer support.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and integrate advanced software, control systems, and hardware for high-precision automated equipment.
• Translate customer and system requirements into robust, high-performance machine solutions through integration testing and documentation.
• Provide hands-on technical support for machine software and hardware, including troubleshooting and customer-driven enhancements.
• Plan and manage engineering tasks and projects to deliver solutions that meet quality, performance, and timeline expectations.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimise hardware-software interfaces and overall system performance, while mentoring junior engineers as you progress.
