Job summary

EM Engineering Pte Ltd is a Singapore-based engineering and construction company delivering lift installation, maintenance and vertical transportation solutions. We are seeking a site-focused mechanical engineer to support project managers in upgrading, replacement and improvement works across buildings and facilities.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering and has at least 3 years of relevant experience in building services.

Qualifications

Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent is required.
At least 3 years of relevant mechanical building services experience.
Able to work independently, self-motivated and disciplined.
Singapore-based candidates preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist PM in managing mechanical upgrading, replacement and improvement projects from planning to handover.
Conduct regular inspections at HDB residential blocks and other Town Council facilities.
Verify mechanical equipment and materials delivered to site against submissions and specifications.
Ensure contractors comply with Workplace Safety and Health requirements and site safety procedures.
Assist with measurement and verification of completed works for progress payment assessment.
Conduct joint completion inspections with contractors and Town Council representatives.
