Job summary

KING SEARCH PTE. LTD.

is seeking a proactive Mechanical Engineer to oversee building services and mechanical installations for major infrastructure projects, open to fresh graduates up to Assistant Manager level. You will be a key technical liaison among main contractors, consultants, and site sub-contractors to ensure seamless project delivery, with on-site coordination, technical reviews, and pre-commissioning activities.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Fresh Graduates from NTU/NUS welcome for entry level positions.
• Senior levels prefer prior site execution/coordination experience with main contractors or major M&E sub-contractors.
• Proficiency in technical communication and stakeholder management in multi-cultural site environments.

Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site execution, installation, and coordination of Mechanical/ACMV systems.
• Act as primary technical liaison between project stakeholders, main contractors, and sub-contractors to resolve site engineering issues and trade clashes.
• Prepare, review, and submit technical shop drawings, RFIs, MOS, RAMS.
• Manage sub-contractor progress, material procurement, and manpower allocation to adhere to project schedules.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning, Testing & Commissioning (T&C) and defect rectification prior to authority handovers.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee on-site execution, installation, and coordination of Mechanical/ACMV systems.

• Act as a primary technical liaison between project stakeholders, main contractors, and sub-contractors to resolve site engineering issues and trade clashes.

• Prepare, review, and submit technical shop drawings, RFIs, Method Statements (MOS), and Risk Assessments (RAMS).

• Manage sub-contractor progress, material procurement, and manpower allocation to adhere to project schedules.

• Coordinate pre-commissioning, Testing & Commissioning (T&C), and defect rectification prior to authority handovers.

Requirements

• Degree / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (Fresh Graduates from NTU/NUS are welcome to apply for entry-level positions).

• Prior site execution or coordination experience with main contractors or major M&E sub-contractors is preferred for senior levels.

• Proficiency in technical communication and stakeholder management in multi-cultural site environments.

• Familiarity with local building codes, BCA, SCDF, and NEA compliance standards.
