Job summary

Atomionics, a Singapore-based startup supported by SGInnovate, seeks a Mechanical Lab Technician to support machining, 3D printing, and mechanical assembly, plus manage the Mech, Electronics and Physics labs.

You will collaborate with engineers and physicists during system integration, testing, and deployment, and attend company-funded courses to upskill across relevant technical domains. The role emphasizes safety, cleanliness, and hands-on problem solving while maintaining tools and inventory.

Qualifications

• ITE Nitec / Higher Nitec, Polytechnic Diploma, or equivalent technical qualification.
• Hands-on experience with basic machining, workshop tools, assembly, or 3D printing.
• Able to read simple drawings, follow work instructions, and use basic measuring tools.
• Soldering experience and basic knowledge of electronics and optics.

Responsibilities

• Support machining, 3D printing, mechanical assembly, rework and prototyping.
• Maintain mechanical, electronics, and physics lab spaces, including tools, inventory, safety, and cleanliness.
• Assist with sensor installation, packing, and field survey preparation for quantum gravimeter systems.
• Work with engineers and physicists during system integration, testing, troubleshooting, and deployment.
• Attend company-funded technical courses to upskill across relevant technical domains.
