Job summary

Element Materials Technology is seeking a Full-time on-site Mechanical Technician in Singapore. You will interpret client requirements, operate mechanical testing equipment, and maintain meticulous records to support our laboratory services.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or related experience, hands-on capability, and strong attention to detail. Excellent communication and a team-oriented approach are essential in our fast-paced testing environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with laboratory experience.
• Hands-on technician capable of operating mechanical testing equipment.
• Familiar with quality systems such as ISO 17025 is beneficial.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Good communication and teamwork in a busy lab.

Responsibilities

• Interpretation of internal and client requirements
• Operating complex mechanical testing equipment
• Maintaining accurate and systematic records
• Performing other duties to fulfil the demands of the laboratory
• Performing general duties in accordance with Element's internal procedures, quality as well as Health and Safety system
• Application of instrumentation and the setting up of complex data capture equipment
• Report writing, data interpretation and analysis
