Job summary

Micron Technology, Inc. invites applications for Lab Automation Support in Singapore. The role supports setup, qualification, and sustainment of automation tools across the lab, with emphasis on AMHS/AMR/ARV, robotics, and vision systems to enable efficient data-driven manufacturing.

You will assist engineers during installation, debugging, FAT/SAT/PAC, UAT, and tool handover, while ensuring safety, 6S, and SOP compliance in a fast-paced semiconductor environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma/NITEC in Mechatronics or related field.
• Experience in equipment operation, manufacturing, lab ops, maintenance or automation support.
• Basic computer skills including Excel and dashboards.
• Willingness to learn and work in a team.
• Familiarity with AI tools for reporting and workflow automation.

Responsibilities

• Support setup, trial, qualification, and sustainment of automation tools (Laser Mark, HAST ALU, Reflow, AMHS/AMR/ARV, robotics, vision systems).
• Assist engineers during installation, dry run, debug, FAT/SAT/PAC, UAT, qualification and release activities.
• Support tool handover and provide training to operation team.
• Perform routine checks, basic troubleshooting, recovery and escalation for automation tools.
• Monitor tool performance, downtime, repeat issues, and safety concerns.
• Support AMHS workflow testing, system trial runs and operational readiness.
• Record system issues and coordinate with engineers, IT and equipment teams.
• Assist IE modeling by collecting data and verifying planning assumptions.
