We seek a highly experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to spearhead turnkey mechanical and piping infrastructure projects, owning complex water treatment systems, high-rate reactors, and automated utility setups.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum of 8–10 years of progressive hands-on engineering experience in water/wastewater or industrial utility projects.
• Deep technical expertise in large-scale piping systems, mechanical equipment integration, pump sizing, and SCADA/PLC control networks.

Responsibilities

• Plan, monitor, and execute large-scale mechanical and process engineering installations for water treatment infrastructure.
• Review and approve mechanical drawings, piping layout blueprints, process flow designs, and technical documentation.
• Supervise the construction, installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of heavy mechanical equipment, high-rate biological reactors, and automated filtration systems.
• Manage procurement schedules, subcontractor contracts, evaluate vendor submissions, and direct site engineering activities.
• Control engineering budgets, prepare variations/claims, and coordinate with internal procurement teams to maintain cost control across large sites.
• Act as the primary technical point of contact during public and private sector project coordination meetings with clients and government consultants.
• Enforce the highest standards of occupational health and safety, driving compliance with site regulations and company risk assessment protocols.

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly experienced Mechanical Engineering Manager to spearhead the execution of turnkey mechanical and piping infrastructure projects

The successful candidate will take full technical and managerial ownership of complex industrial water treatment systems, high-rate biological reactors, and automated utility setups

Key Responsibilities

• Project Leadership: Plan, monitor, and execute large-scale mechanical and process engineering installations for water treatment infrastructure minimum of S$16 million.
• System Design & Optimization: Review and approve mechanical drawings, piping layout blueprints, process flow designs, and technical documentation.
• Technical Management: Supervise the construction, installation, troubleshooting, and commissioning of heavy mechanical equipment, high-rate biological reactors, and automated filtration systems.
• Subcontractor Control: Manage procurement schedules, execute subcontractor contracts, evaluate vendor submissions, and direct site engineering activities.
• Financial Tracking: Control engineering budgets, prepare variations/claims, and coordinate with internal procurement teams to maintain cost control across large sites.
• Stakeholder Liaison: Act as the primary technical point of contact during public and private sector project coordination meetings with clients and government consultants.
• Safety & Compliance: Enforce the highest standards of occupational health and safety, driving compliance with site regulations and company risk assessment protocols.

Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering field.
• Experience: Minimum of 8 to 10 years of progressive hands-on engineering experience, with a solid track record in water/wastewater treatment, or industrial utility engineering projects.
