Job summary

Our client in the Environmental Services sector is seeking a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join their team in Tuas. The role is permanent, with training leading to a 12-hour rotating shift after three months.

Salary is up to SGD 2,700 plus OT, shift allowances and transport allowance; transport provided where applicable. Work hours are 5.5 days per week, Monday to Friday 8am–5pm, Saturday 8am–12pm, then rotating to 12-hour shifts.

Qualifications

• NITEC or equivalent qualification in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 2 years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing, process plant, or industrial environment.
• Hands-on maintenance, troubleshooting and repair experience.

Responsibilities

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance on plant equipment to ensure smooth and reliable operations.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical equipment to minimise downtime.
• Perform servicing, overhaul, and maintenance of pumps, motors, blowers, fans, and other plant machinery.
• Install and commission new equipment while ensuring proper operational performance.
• Maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, and daily work logs.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety procedures and company standards.
