Job summary

MCI Career Services Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to support ACMV projects. You will review contract specs, technical drawings, and client requirements to help drive quality and timely delivery.

The role requires a Degree in Mechanical Engineering; no experience is welcome. You will perform FCU/AHU sizing, duct sizing, ventilation calculations, and assist with as-built drawings, variation orders, and project documentation.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• No experience required; entry-friendly.
• Experience managing ACMV projects in industrial or commercial settings an advantage.
• Experience designing air-conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
• Hands-on knowledge of FCU/AHU sizing, duct sizing, chilled-water piping and ventilation calculations.
• Strong communication, coordination, problem-solving and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and interpret contract specifications, technical drawings and client requirements to support project execution.
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings, inspection checklists and related documentation for quality and compliance.
• Carry out ACMV performance and static pressure calculations to ensure proper design and performance.
• Perform calculations for kitchen hood selection, exhaust systems and staircase pressurization.
• Coordinate ACMV installation works with architectural, electrical and other trades.
• Prepare technical documentation and submissions for Variation Orders, damage claims and abortive works.
• Support testing, balancing and commissioning activities to verify system performance.
• Assist in preparing and updating as-built drawings reflecting installed works.

• Location: Aljunied, Singapore




• $3,000 - $4,500 (Depends on experience




• Monday – Thursday: 8:30am – 6:00pm

• Friday: 8:30am – 5:30pm

Job Summary
