Job summary

STAFFLINK SERVICES PRIVATE LIMITED is seeking an ACMV Project Engineer in Singapore (Macpherson) to oversee project execution and ensure safe, compliant delivery of ACMV systems.

You will interpret specifications, perform system calculations, coordinate site installation and support testing and commissioning to meet required standards.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or diploma in mechanical engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in ACMV project execution for industrial or commercial projects.
• Strong communication and coordination across teams.
• Ability to manage project responsibilities independently.

Responsibilities

• Review contract specifications, drawings and client requirements for project execution.
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings and inspection checklists to ensure quality and compliance.
• Perform ACMV calculations for system design and optimisation.
• Carry out calculations for kitchen hood systems, exhaust systems and staircase pressurisation.
• Coordinate ACMV installation works with architectural, electrical, plumbing and other trades.
• Prepare technical submissions for Variation Orders, damage claims and abortive works.
• Support testing, balancing and commissioning activities to verify system performance and compliance.
• Assist with preparing and updating as-built drawings upon project completion.

Monday - Friday: 8.30am - 6pm, Saturday (depending on project requirement)

Basic + Completion bonus + Variable Bonus

A well-established Singapore-based M&E engineering contractor specialising in ACMV, mechanical and electrical engineering solutions for major commercial, industrial, institutional and infrastructure projects, offering strong project exposure and long-term career stability.

Job Overview

As an ACMV Project Engineer , you will oversee project execution by interpreting technical specifications, performing system calculations, coordinating site installation and supporting testing and commissioning activities to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently and according to required standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Review contract specifications, technical drawings and client requirements to support project execution.
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings and inspection checklists to ensure quality and compliance.
• Perform ACMV performance and static pressure calculations for system design and optimisation.
• Carry out calculations for kitchen hood systems, exhaust systems and staircase pressurisation.
• Coordinate ACMV installation works with architectural, electrical, plumbing and other trades.
• Prepare technical submissions for Variation Orders, damage claims and abortive works.
• Support testing, balancing and commissioning activities to verify system performance and compliance.

Requirements

• ITE, Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Relevant experience in ACMV project execution , preferably for industrial or commercial projects.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively across teams.
• Strong problem-solving, coordination and project management abilities.
• Team player with the ability to work independently and manage project responsibilities effectively.
