Job summary

Recruit Now Singapore Pte Ltd is seeking an ITE/ Diploma or degree-qualified Mechanical Engineer to lead ACMV project execution on Sentosa or NS Square sites in Singapore. The role involves design, calculations, and cross‑functional coordination to ensure safety, quality, and timely delivery.

You will interpret specifications, prepare drawings and checklists, and support variations and claims while helping balance and commission HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• ITE/Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.
• Experience managing ACMV projects for industrial or commercial purposes.
• Experience on designing air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
• Hands-on in calculating and sizing of FCUs and AHUs including ducting and CHW pipe sizes.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with teams.
• Proactive in coordinating with trades to support project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Interpret contract specifications, drawings, and client requirements to guide project execution.
• Prepare method statements, shop drawings, and inspection checklists for quality control.
• Perform ACMV calculations to optimize system design and functionality.
• Conduct kitchen hood selection, exhaust, and staircase pressurization calculations for safety compliance.
• Coordinate installation activities with architectural, electrical, and plumbing trades.
• Prepare submissions for variations, claims, and abortive works to support approvals.
• Assist in testing, balancing, and commissioning activities to verify performance.

• Up till$4800 basic + Variable bonus + Annual Bonus + $50 Mobile allowance (salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications)

• Location: Sentosa or NS Square Site

• Working Days/Timings: 6 days work week | Depending on project site

Responsibilities:

• Interpret contract specifications, drawings, and Client’s requirements to guide project execution.

• Prepare method statements, shop drawings, and inspection checklists to ensure compliance and quality control.

• Perform ACMV performance and static pressure calculations to optimize system design and functionality.

• Conduct kitchen hood selection, exhaust, and staircase pressurization calculations to meet safety and ventilation standards.

• Coordinate installation activities with architectural, electrical, and plumbing trades to ensure seamless integration.

• Prepare technical submissions for Variation Orders, damage claims, and abortive works to support project documentation and approvals.

• Assist in testing, balancing, and commissioning activities to verify system performance and compliance.

• Support preparation of as-built drawings to document final installation and modifications.

Requirements:

• ITE/Diploma/Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering.

• Experience managing ACMV projects for industrial or commercial purposes.

• Experience on designing air conditioning and mechanical ventilation systems.
