Job summary

STEEL OCEAN ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced Mechanical Drafting Engineer in Singapore.

You will prepare and revise mechanical drawings using AutoCAD, Revit and Revit MEP, and develop 3D models using Navisworks 5D to support multi-disciplinary design coordination. You will coordinate with engineers and consultants, identify clashes, and ensure drawings meet project specs. The role requires ability to work under pressure, handle urgent revisions, and adapt to rotating day/night

Qualifications

• Total 5+ years of total working experience with at least 3 years in mechanical engineering and drafting.
• Advanced practical knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, Revit MEP and Navisworks 5D.
• Able to independently prepare, modify and coordinate complex mechanical drawings and 3D models.
• Experience in multidisciplinary design coordination, model integration, clash detection and drawing revisions.
• Able to interpret complex engineering drawings, specs and project requirements with minimal supervision.
• Capable of handling urgent revisions and multiple project deliverables under tight deadlines.
• Willing to work on a 24-hour rotating shift basis, including day/night shifts and weekends/public holidays.
• Prepared to work according to project schedules and changing site requirements.
• Able to work independently under pressure and take responsibility for deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for ongoing engineering and construction activities.
• Perform other engineering duties as assigned by management.
