Job summary

FENG PLUMBING PTE LTD in Singapore seeks a Mechanical Design Engineer to assist the Project Manager in leading the project team and driving design activities from customer proposals to final drawings.

You will prepare and update 3D drawings with BIM/AutoCAD tools, ensure drawings comply with detailing procedures, and liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to obtain approvals. Teamwork and independence are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficient in BIM software and AutoCAD.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Project Manager in managing and leading the project team.
• Execute design activities with customer design proposals, specifications, manuals and other data.
• Prepare and update 3D drawings and control in every issuance of drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare final as-built drawings as per client requirements.
• Liaise with Client, Client's Consultants and Contractor to obtain design and drawing approvals.
• Coordinate with fabricators and installers.
