Job summary

JPS Manpower PTE. LTD. is seeking a skilled CAD drafter to transform sketches into precise 2D and 3D drawings for project development. You will use CAD tools to create detailed design plans and ensure regulatory compliance.

Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve design conflicts, prepare material lists, and support efficient project execution in a cooperative, multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, architecture, drafting technology, or related field.
• Strong proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling tools.
• 1–2 years of drafting experience.
• High accuracy in measurements, scaling, and annotations.
• Ability to explain technical designs clearly in multidisciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings from sketches to support development.
• Operate CAD software (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, SketchUp) to produce detailed plans.
• Verify drawings comply with statutory requirements and safety standards.
• Collaborate with engineers, architects, and project managers to resolve conflicts and apply revisions.
• Prepare project documentation including material lists and cutting lists.

Job Summary

Transform preliminary sketches and designer notes into precise 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software, ensuring compliance with statutory and safety standards. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve design conflicts and prepare detailed project documentation.

Responsibilities

• Create accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings from preliminary sketches and designer notes to support project development
• Operate computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or SketchUp to produce detailed design plans
• Verify that all drawings comply with statutory requirements and industry safety standards to ensure regulatory adherence
• Collaborate effectively with engineers, architects, and project managers to identify and resolve design conflicts and incorporate revisions
• Prepare comprehensive project documentation including material lists and cutting lists to facilitate project execution

Required competencies and certifications

• Diploma or degree in engineering, architecture, drafting technology, or a related field
• Strong proficiency in CAD and 3D modeling tools
• Minimum 1 to 2 years of drafting experience
• High accuracy in measurements, scaling, and annotations
• Ability to work well in multidisciplinary teams and clearly explain technical designs

Salary
