Job summary

Hunters International Sdn Bhd, partnering with an established Singapore-based M&E engineering firm, seeks a project coordinator for end-to-end execution on a Major Railway Infrastructure project in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Fresh graduates welcome with on-the-job training.
• At least 1 year project management experience in related field is a plus.
• Strong organizational, follow-up, and communication skills.
• Ability to interface with all levels internally and externally.

Responsibilities

• Take over awarded projects and drive full execution lifecycle.
• Develop detailed project plans with scope, schedules, and lead times.
• Prepare and manage document submissions and obtain customer approvals.
• Review engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Plan procurement by raising requisitions and coordinating with suppliers.
• Coordinate site activities with internal teams covering installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Track progress, maintain schedules, and report to stakeholders.
• Manage client communications, meetings, and expectation management.
• Monitor costs to ensure delivery within budget.

About our client:

Our client is an established Singapore-based M&E engineering company with a solid track record in delivering end-to-end mechanical and electrical solutions across commercial, industrial, and infrastructure projects. With a focus on quality, safety, and timely delivery, they continue to expand their project portfolio and team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Take over awarded projects from tender/sales team and drive full project execution lifecycle.
• Develop detailed project plans, including scope of work, schedules, submission timelines, and material lead times.
• Prepare and manage document and material submissions, ensuring timely approvals from customers.
• Review and coordinate engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Plan procurement by raising purchase requisitions and coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors.
• Coordinate site activities with internal teams (e.g., Superintendent, Construction Manager) covering installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Track project progress, maintain schedules, and prepare regular progress reports for internal stakeholders and clients.
• Manage client communications, including meetings, reporting, and expectation management.
• Monitor project costs and ensure delivery within approved budget.

Key Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related studies.

• Those with min 1 year of project management experience in related field & Experienced in handling multiple projects is a plus.
