Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a hands-on M&E coordinator to manage mechanical and electrical project works, ensuring timely execution and adherence to drawings and specs.

The role requires a Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering and 2–3 years of M&E or construction experience. You will coordinate with clients, consultants, and subcontractors, oversee site activities, safety, testing, and handover.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant M&E or construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage M&E project works to ensure timely execution.
• Ensure M&E works follow drawings, specs, and project requirements.
• Plan, schedule, and monitor site activities; resolve technical and site issues.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors for coordination of M&E services.
• Prepare and submit progress reports, claims, variation orders, and relevant project documentation; follow up on certifications and payments.
• Monitor project progress to ensure works are completed within schedule and budget.
• Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems.
• Ensure compliance with all regulations, codes, and safety requirements.
• Promote and enforce Workplace Safety and Health standards on site.
• Coordinate with subcontractors and safety personnel on safety matters.
• Ensure proper documentation and timely handover of completed works.

Job Scope

• Coordinate and manage Mechanical & Electrical (M&E) project works to ensure timely and smooth execution
• Ensure all M&E works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, technical specifications, and project requirements
• Plan, schedule, and monitor site activities; proactively identify and resolve technical and site issues
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to ensure proper coordination of M&E services
• Prepare and submit progress reports, claims, variation orders, and relevant project documentation; follow up on certifications and payments
• Monitor project progress to ensure works are completed within schedule and budget
• Ensure proper testing, commissioning, and handover of M&E systems in accordance with project specifications
• Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory regulations, codes of practice, and safety requirements
• Promote and enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) standards on site
• Coordinate closely with subcontractors and their safety personnel on all safety-related matters
• Ensure proper documentation and timely handover of completed works to management or client

Requirement

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or a related field
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in M&E or construction projects
