Job summary

SHENG HENG ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a Project Engineer to provide technical and engineering support to the Project Team, assisting in planning, monitoring, and controlling M&E works on building projects.

You will manage subcontractor progress on site to meet timelines and quality standards, apply codes and safety requirements, and coordinate RFAs, RFIs, shop drawings, and procurement. A degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least three years of relevant building-project

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in building projects.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply for entry-level positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical and engineering support to the Project Team to ensure effective project execution.
• Assist the Project Manager and M&E Manager in planning, reviewing, monitoring, and controlling the progress and processes of M&E works.
• Control and manage the progress and performance of M&E subcontractors on site to meet project timelines and quality standards.
• Apply knowledge of applicable codes, regulations, and Authorities’ requirements related to M&E services, building construction, and safety to ensure compliance.
• Monitor and control the progress of RFAs, RFIs, shop drawings, technical submissions, and equipment/material procurement, fabrication, and delivery.
• Maintain and update all site inspection, testing, and commissioning records accurately to support project documentation and quality assurance
