Job summary

RECRUIT LYNC PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to design, develop, and optimize semiconductor components, tooling, and related systems.

You will manage design projects from concept through prototyping, testing, and production support, collaborating with Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement to ensure designs are manufacturable and cost-effective. Qualifications include a Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering, knowledge of semiconductor processes, and CAD proficiency

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Knowledge of semiconductor front-end and back-end processes.
• Proficiency in CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize semiconductor components, tooling, and related systems to meet customer and production requirements.
• Manage design projects from concept development, prototyping, testing, and validation through to production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement, to ensure designs are functional, manufacturable, and cost-effective.
• Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, technical documentation, and design specifications in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
• Troubleshoot design issues, provide technical support during production, and implement design improvements to enhance product performance and reliability.
• Drive innovation and continuous improvement by developing new design solutions, improving engineering processes, and contributing technical expertise within the team.

Your Responsibilities: -

• Design, develop, and optimize semiconductor components, tooling, and related systems to meet customer and production requirements.
• Manage design projects from concept development, prototyping, testing, and validation through to production support.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Manufacturing, Quality, and Procurement, to ensure designs are functional, manufacturable, and cost-effective.
• Prepare and maintain engineering drawings, technical documentation, and design specifications in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

You will need: -

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
• Knowledge of semiconductor front-end and back-end manufacturing processes, with experience in the design of precision components and tooling for semiconductor applications.
• Advanced CAD Training or certs (Solidworks, AutoCAD, etc) for 2D and 3D designs
