Job summary

Seatrium (SG)Pte.Ltd. is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to design and optimize mechanical systems for marine vessels, offshore platforms, and renewable energy installations.

You will lead projects from concept through completion and work with electrical engineers, project managers, and operations teams to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3-5 years of mechanical engineering experience in marine, offshore or renewable energy.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Navisworks.

Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Create and optimize designs for mechanical systems used in marine vessels, offshoreplatforms, and renewable energy installations, including High Voltage AC/DC platforms.
• Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through tocompletion, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, projectmanagers and operation team, to ensure integrated and sustainable solutions.
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all designs and systems comply with contract specification,industry rules and regulations, and safety protocols.
• Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including equipment technical specification,machinery arrangement drawing, equipment sizing calculation, functional design specification,site acceptance test and marine operating manuals.
• Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in marine and renewable energytechnologies and incorporate innovative solutions into projects.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.

Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in themarine, offshore or renewable energy sectors.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), Navisworks andknowledge of marine and renewable energy systems.

Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with data analysis andinterpretation.

Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability toconvey complex technical information to diverse audiences.
