The role focuses on creating and refining mechanical designs, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and driving project milestones from concept through to completion. Collaborate with electrical engineers, operations teams, and managers to deliver integrated solutions.
Create and optimize designs for mechanical systems used in marine vessels, offshore
platforms, and renewable energy installations, including High Voltage AC/DC platforms.
Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through to
completion, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.
Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project
managers and operation team, to ensure integrated and sustainable solutions.
Compliance and Safety: Ensure all designs and systems comply with contract specification,
industry rules and regulations, and safety protocols.
Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including equipment technical specification,
machinery arrangement drawing, equipment sizing calculation, functional design specification,
site acceptance test and marine operating manuals.
Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in marine and renewable energy
technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
