Job summary

Seatrium (SG) Pte. Ltd. designs and delivers marine mechanical systems for vessels, offshore platforms, and renewable energy installations.

The role focuses on creating and refining mechanical designs, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and driving project milestones from concept through to completion. Collaborate with electrical engineers, operations teams, and managers to deliver integrated solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in marine, offshore or renewable energy sectors.
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), Navisworks.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and data analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead project management from concept to completion, meeting milestones on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and operation teams, to ensure integrated and sustainable solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with contract specifications, industry rules, regulations, and safety protocols.
• Prepare technical documentation, including equipment specifications, drawings, sizing calculations, and operating manuals.
• Stay updated with marine and renewable energy technologies and incorporate innovations into projects.

Responsibilities

Create and optimize designs for mechanical systems used in marine vessels, offshore

platforms, and renewable energy installations, including High Voltage AC/DC platforms.

Project Management: Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through to

completion, ensuring all milestones are met on time and within budget.

Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project

managers and operation team, to ensure integrated and sustainable solutions.

Compliance and Safety: Ensure all designs and systems comply with contract specification,

industry rules and regulations, and safety protocols.

Documentation: Prepare technical documentation, including equipment technical specification,

machinery arrangement drawing, equipment sizing calculation, functional design specification,

site acceptance test and marine operating manuals.

Innovation: Stay updated with the latest advancements in marine and renewable energy

technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into projects.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in themarine, offshore or renewable energy sectors
• Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD), Navisworks and knowledge of marine and renewable energy system
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with data analysis and interpretation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to diverse audiences
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Flexibility to adapt to changing project requirements and priorities
• A proactive approach to identifying and implementing innovative solutions.
