Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of mechanical engineering experience, preferably in marine/offshore/renewable sectors.
• Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and Navisworks.
• Strong problem solving and data analysis abilities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment and adapt to changing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Create and optimize designs for mechanical systems used in marine vessels, offshore platforms, and renewable energy installations, including High Voltage AC/DC platforms.
• Lead and manage engineering projects from concept through to completion, ensuring milestones are met on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers, project managers and operation team, to deliver integrated solutions.
• Ensure designs comply with contract specifications, industry rules and safety protocols.
• Prepare technical documentation including equipment specifications, machinery drawings, sizing calculations, functional design specifications, site acceptance tests and operating manuals.
• Stay updated with latest marine and renewable energy technologies and incorporate innovative solutions into projects.
