Job summary

EA RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a marine mechanic to service engines, generators, and electrical systems aboard vessels, travelling to shipyards for repairs and maintenance.

You will work on offshore projects, complete service reports, and adhere to manuals. Certificates or a diploma are required, and prior marine mechanical experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Certificates, diploma or equivalent qualification.
• Proven work experience as a marine mechanic will be a plus.
• Ability to work offshore and in engine room onboard vessel.

Responsibilities

• Travel to shipyards and vessels to carry out service and repair work.
• Test and check marine engines, generators, and electrical systems.
• Perform troubleshooting, maintenance, and overhaul of main engines and generators.
• Carry out equipment calibration at customer sites and in-house.
• Complete service reports, timesheets, repair records, and other required documents.
• Follow manufacturer service manuals and proper repair procedures.
• Complete service jobs efficiently and within the required time.
• Keep the work area clean, safe, and tidy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
