Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd is seeking a Junior Marine Service Engineer (Engines & Pumps) for a permanent, on-site position at Gul Circle. You will install, commission, inspect, maintain and troubleshoot marine engines, pumps and onboard equipment to keep vessels in optimal condition.

You will attend vessels for servicing, breakdown support and sea trials, and travel locally and overseas as required. A Diploma in Marine/Mechanical/Electrical Engineering is required, with 1 year marine onboard

Qualifications

• Diploma in Marine, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering or related discipline.
• Preferably 1 year of marine onboard service experience.
• Comfortable to travel locally and overseas.

Responsibilities

• Perform installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting of marine engines, pumps and onboard equipment.
• Attend vessels for servicing, breakdown support and sea trials.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to maker requirements.
• Prepare service reports and technical documentation.
• Support equipment upgrades, modifications and other company projects when required.

• Position: Junior Marine Service Engineer (Engines & Pumps)

• Location: Gul Circle

• Working hours: 5 days | Monday to Thursday 8am - 6pm | Friday 8am - 5pm

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $5,000 Basic + 14 Days Annual Leave + Variable Bonus (Up to 3 months depending on company's and individual performance)

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Marine repair & maintenance service provider

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform installation, commissioning, inspection, maintenance and troubleshooting of marine engines, pumps and onboard equipment

• Attend vessels for servicing, breakdown support and sea trials

• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance according to maker requirements

• Prepare service reports and technical documentation

• Support equipment upgrades, modifications and other company projects when required

• Travel locally and overseas for vessel attendance and maker deployment

Requirements:

• Diploma in Marine, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related discipline

• Preferably 1 year of marine | onboard service engineering experience

• Hands‑on experience in commissioning, troubleshooting and maintenance preferred

• Comfortable to travel frequently
