Job summary

STEPSTONE EDUCATION PTE. LTD. in River Valley, Singapore, is seeking a passionate Primary Mathematics & Math Olympiad Tutor to conduct 1-to-1 lessons for primary school students.

This on-site full-time role focuses on enrichment, problem-solving development, and preparation for competitions such as SASMO, RMO, NMOΣ and SMOPS/APMOPS; strong English communication and patient teaching are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of the Singapore Primary Mathematics curriculum.
• Experience teaching Primary School Mathematics.
• Familiar with Math Olympiad / Competition Mathematics.
• Able to teach confidently in English.
• Patient, engaging and able to adapt lessons to individual students.

Requirements

• Strong focus on conceptual understanding and problem-solving

Preferred

• Degree or strong academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, Science or related fields
• Experience coaching students for recognised Mathematics competitions
• Experience with Mathematics DSA or NUS High preparation is an advantage
