Job summary

ATOP Academy PTE. LTD. is seeking a Mathematics tutor to plan and deliver engaging lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE secondary syllabus.

You will assess learning needs and tailor lesson plans to maximise outcomes, teaching topics across algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics and probability. The role involves guiding students in logical reasoning and problem solving, teaching Elementary and/or Additional Mathematics as appropriate, marking assignments, tracking progress, and preparing

Qualifications

• GCE A-Level, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Education, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of secondary‑level mathematics and problem‑solving methods.
• Familiarity with Singapore MOE Secondary Mathematics syllabus and assessment requirements.
• Ability to teach Elementary Mathematics and/or Additional Mathematics is preferred.

• Teach mathematical concepts in areas such as algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, and probability.


• Guide students in applying mathematical methods, logical reasoning, and problem-solving strategies.


• Teach Elementary Mathematics and/or Additional Mathematics according to the tutor's expertise.


• Mark assignments, monitor student progress, and provide timely, constructive feedback.


• Prepare students for school assessments and national examinations.


• Develop students' confidence, accuracy, analytical thinking, and problem-solving abilities.


• Create a positive, engaging, and disciplined learning environment.


• Communicate professionally with parents regarding students' academic progress.


• Develop teaching resources, lesson materials, and classroom activities.

Requirements

• GCE A-Level, Diploma, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Education, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field.
