Job summary

STEPSTONE Education Pte. Ltd. is seeking an enthusiastic Mathematics teacher to deliver engaging lessons to Primary and Secondary students in a Singapore tuition setting.

You will plan lessons aligned to the Singapore MOE syllabus, prepare materials and assessments, mark work and provide feedback to students and parents to support progress.

This role requires clear communication, patience and the ability to adapt instruction for diverse learning needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above, preferably in Mathematics, Education or a related discipline.
• Strong Mathematics subject knowledge.
• Able to teach Primary and Secondary Mathematics independently.
• Familiarity with the Singapore MOE syllabus is preferred.
• Experience teaching PSLE Mathematics, Secondary E-Math and/or A-Math is an advantage.
• Prior tuition centre or group-teaching experience is preferred.
• Responsible, patient and able to communicate effectively with students and parents.
• Candidates must have the legal right to work in Singapore.

Responsibilities

• Teach Mathematics to Primary and Secondary students in small-group classes.
• Deliver engaging and structured lessons based on the Singapore MOE syllabus.
• Prepare lesson materials, worksheets, assessments and revision resources.
• Mark students' work and provide timely feedback.
• Monitor students' academic progress and provide learning recommendations.
• Communicate with parents regarding students' progress when required.
• Participate in curriculum development and academic planning.
