Job summary

Moyuan Culture Education is seeking a dedicated Math Tuition Teacher to join our team in Singapore. This full-time, on-site role involves delivering high-quality mathematics instruction, designing engaging lessons, and assessing student progress within a structured learning environment.

You will work with the curriculum team to customize materials and strategies, support student development, and prepare learners for exams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Education, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of teaching experience in mathematics, preferably within a tuition centre or academic institution in Singapore.
• Strong knowledge of the Singapore mathematics curriculum (MOE syllabus) across primary and/or secondary levels.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage students of varying abilities.
• Experience with digital teaching tools and online learning platforms is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging mathematics lessons aligned with the Singapore curriculum and MOE syllabus across primary and secondary levels.
• Conduct small-group and one-on-one tuition sessions to address individual student learning needs.
• Design customized lesson materials, worksheets, and assessment tools to reinforce mathematical concepts and problem-solving skills.
• Monitor and track student progress through regular evaluations, providing constructive feedback to students and parents.
• Identify learning gaps and implement targeted intervention strategies to improve student outcomes.
• Prepare students for school examinations, national tests, and competitive mathematics assessments.
• Collaborate with fellow educators and curriculum developers to continually enhance teaching methods and materials.
• Maintain a positive, motivating classroom environment that encourages active participation and intellectual curiosity.
• Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement.
• Participate in staff meetings, professional development sessions, and school-wide initiatives.
