Job summary

Woodlands Hospital in Singapore is seeking an Associate Executive, Financial Counselling (Maternity Cover) to support patients with financial decisions and funding options. You will liaise with clinicians, insurers, and MSWs to ensure timely payments and optimal funding coverage.

The role involves monitoring deposits, coordinating with external partners, and contributing to process improvements like RPA/AI while supporting training and operations.

Qualifications

• Degree qualification with 1–3 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in financial counselling, deposit monitoring, or healthcare finance operations will be an advantage.
• Familiarity with public healthcare financing schemes is a plus.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel (e.g. VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).

Responsibilities

• Provide financial counselling for patients to understand costs and funding options.
• Refer to Medical Social Workers (MSW) when needed.
• Document counselling activities in the Financial Counselling system.
• Monitor deposits and collect out-of-pocket payments from patients.
• Coordinate with insurers and employers to obtain Letters of Guarantee (LOG).
• Support process improvements including RPA and AI projects; assist in UAT.
• Assist in training and operational coordination.
