Job summary

RECRUITPEDIA PTE. LTD. is helping a well-established MNC specializing in advanced coating and surface engineering solutions for semiconductor, precision engineering and industrial applications.

The role is based in Tuas with transport provided and a 7:45am–4:45pm schedule, five days a week. You will support R&D activities, assist in process development and NPD, conduct testing of materials, and collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement new coatings and processes while

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Materials Science or Engineering.
• 1–2 years in R&D engineering, preferably metals, alloys or ceramics.
• Experience in process development, NPD and cost-down activities.
• Familiar with SAP and NCC systems, BOM and process flow.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 / ISO 13485 quality standards.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Entry-level applicants with relevant academics welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D activities for advanced coating and surface engineering products.
• Assist in process development, NPD and product improvements.
• Conduct testing and analysis of materials and coating processes.
• Work with metals, alloys and ceramics to develop and optimise products.
• Support cost calculation and cost-down initiatives.
• Prepare BOM, part numbers and process flow documentation.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to implement processes.
• Ensure R&D activities comply with quality standards.
• Perform other R&D and engineering duties as assigned.
