Job summary

SUMITOMO BAKELITE SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a capable engineer to research the properties of our products and investigate chemical phenomena through experiments. You will participate in new product testing, development and prototype production while supporting customers during evaluation and qualification phases.

Collaborating with customers, you will help develop suitable material configurations to meet their needs and provide practical technical support throughout the process.

Qualifications

• Degree in Chemical Engineering / Chemistry / Materials Science / Polymer.

Responsibilities

• Conduct experimental research on properties of the Company’s products and analyze tests to investigate chemical phenomena.
• Responsible for new product testing, development and prototype production; assist customers during material evaluation and qualification phases.
• Work closely with customers in developing suitable material configurations and provide technical support.
