Job summary

Sumitomo Bakelite Singapore Pte. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented R&D lab assistant to support sample production and testing in our busy Yishun lab.

Qualifications

• Possess minimum O level or equivalent.
• Strong initiative with demonstrated ability to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support R&D sample production according to assigned formulations.
• Perform R&D samples properties testing.
• Perform reliability test, evaluation and related activities.
• Perform specific customer test requests.
• Perform new equipment buy-off.
• Arrange equipment for annual preventive maintenance and calibration.
• Perform laboratory housekeeping and ensure a good lab environment according to company guidelines.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned.
