Job summary

GE Vernova invites applications for a Materials Management Intern role to support inventory control, materials planning, and continuous improvement within a dynamic manufacturing setting. You will gain hands-on exposure to real projects and learn from experienced professionals.

You will work with SAP, assist in data gathering for demand forecasting, participate in cycle counts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to apply lean manufacturing principles and drive efficiency.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Manufacturing, Aerospace, or Materials Engineering.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Self-motivated and comfortable working in a hands-on, workshop environment.
• Curious about lean principles and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with technical documentation and process support for material and equipment handling.
• Issuing and tracking components using SAP to support engineering and repair operations.
• Supporting calibration of equipment, including document processing and coordination with quality teams.
• Gather and analyse data to support demand forecasting activities.
• Participating in inventory activities, such as monthly cycle and physical counts.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve process efficiency and learn about lean manufacturing principles.
