Job summary

Smartt is seeking a reliable Supply Chain Planner to plan and manage material requirements, aligning forecasts with production schedules in a semiconductor manufacturing setting. You will optimize inventory and support new product introductions by coordinating across teams and ensuring timely material readiness.

In this role, you will use SAP and Excel to analyze data, monitor CTB, and drive inventory targets while minimizing obsolescence.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain/Materials Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in production planning or scheduling.
• Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., SAP) and MS Excel.
• Numerical proficiency and data-analysis skills to support decisions.
• Strong communication with stakeholders at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage material requirements based on forecasts and production schedules.

• Plan and manage material requirements based on customer forecasts, pull signals, and production schedules to ensure timely availability.
• Collaborate with purchasing to monitor CTB and reschedule materials, optimizing revenue and controlling inventory levels.
• Participate in daily production meetings and coordinate with production planning to support the Master Production Schedule.
• Develop and implement actionable plans to achieve inventory targets and manage obsolescence effectively.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) builds by ensuring timely material readiness and availability.
• Manage Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI), Just-in-Time, and consignment inventory processes to maintain supply chain efficiency.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma in Supply Chain/Materials Management or equivalent.
