Job summary

Eaton in Singapore is seeking a Material Planner to drive material planning and execution to support project delivery, customer orders, and service spare parts across East Asia. The role manages SIOP processes and coordinates with suppliers to optimize inventory while ensuring reliable commitments.

Qualifications

• Diploma in supply chain, engineering or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of material planning or SCM experience.
• Proficient in SAP MM module.
• Intermediate or higher in Excel.
• Incoterms knowledge.
• Understanding inbound/outbound logistics for suppliers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage material requirements to support project schedules and customer orders.
• Execute supply planning activities based on forecasts and inventory targets.
• Monitor material shortages and develop recovery plans to minimize impact.
• Review planning parameters like lead times, safety stock, ROP and min order quantities.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Sales, Finance, and Project Management to communicate risks and KPIs.
• Support SIOP/S&OP planning and inventory optimization initiatives.
• Drive inventory reduction while maintaining service levels.
