Job summary

MURATA ELECTRONICS SINGAPORE (PTE) LTD is seeking a Material Planner based in Singapore, Tuas. You will take charge of material planning aligned with the production plan to ensure sufficient supply and minimize production disruption.

Responsibilities include forecasting consumption, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining stock levels while working closely with HQ planning, MES production, procurement and process engineering to support on-time delivery to customers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, industrial engineering or related field.
• Proficient in Excel, SQL and Power BI for planning and analytics.
• Programming knowledge in Python and VBA is advantageous.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Able to work well in a team and take initiative.
• Positive attitude in challenging work environment.

Responsibilities

• Simulate material consumption and forecast demand to support production planning.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure timely material supply.
• Coordinate supplier deliveries and manage stock levels to avoid stoppages.
• Monitor resources and reinforce production continuity with risk mitigation.
• Maintain production control systems for efficient operations.
• Identify business process improvement opportunities.
• Work in a customer-driven, service-oriented environment.
• Communicate clearly and analyze issues with a proactive approach.
