Job summary

SHAMROCK PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a skilled Material Planner to coordinate material requirements, review forecasts, and ensure timely availability to meet production schedules.

You will work with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics, maintain ERP/MRP parameters, and support NPI material readiness while driving continuous improvement. A Diploma or Bachelor's in Supply Chain or related field is required, with strong Excel and communication skills.

Qualifications

  • Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Experience in Material Planning, Production Planning, Inventory Control, or Supply Chain Operations within a manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
  • Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

  • Plan and monitor material requirements based on production schedules, forecasts, and customer demand.
  • Review demand forecasts and generate Purchase Requisitions (PRs) to ensure timely material availability.
  • Track supplier deliveries and expedite critical orders to prevent production shortages.
  • Monitor inventory levels and optimize stock to minimize excess and obsolete inventory.
  • Analyze material shortages and collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to implement recovery plans.
  • Coordinate closely with Production, Procurement, Warehouse, and Logistics to ensure smooth material flow.
  • Maintain and update ERP/MRP planning parameters, including lead times, safety stock, and planning data.
  • Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities by ensuring material readiness.
  • Prepare planning reports and monitor inventory performance.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning efficiency and overall supply chain performance.
