is seeking a production planner to plan materials for production and prototype builds, coordinating detailed production planning and material requirements to ensure cost-effective manufacturing that meets quality specifications. The role involves creating material schedules, preparing production documents, prioritizing job-orders, and tracking progress to keep projects on schedule while liaising with sales to align with customer requirements and predict

Responsibilities

• Working from blueprint to determine the raw materials needed to produce the products
• Prepare and maintain material schedule
• Prepare documents needed for production
• Prioritizes job-orders for production optimization
• Tracks the progress of goods as they are being manufactured to ensure they remain on schedule
• Provide material order administration support
• Work to get production problems resolved and involve others in problem solving
• Liaise with sales division to determine customer requirements
• Predicts how long a project will take to complete
• Develops a production schedule detailing all tasks and when they should be completed by to meet predicted completion date
• Monitor project's progress to ensure it's following the schedule
